The Brighter Futures Learning Partnership Trust in Doncaster has been formed to focus on more meaningful collaboration between schools for the benefit of all the children and young people in our local communities. The aims and objectives of the Trust set out very clearly our determination to support and challenge our schools to provide the best possible educational experience by having a creative and aspirational curriculum and the highest quality of leadership, learning and teaching.
The formation of this Trust cements the strong relationships we have forged through our shared school improvement journeys, and we believe that by developing and supporting our staff we deliver the best outcomes for our students and pupils. We are lucky to have welcomed Doncaster UTC into the Trust in 2020 and we have secured a further free school bid to open a second UTC in 2026, thanks to the immense success of the first one. This growth strategy is essential to the local and regional ambitions to develop the next generation of Britain’s engineers, technicians, scientists, designers and digital creators and health practitioners providing the much-needed talent for local and regional businesses.
Our academies are diverse but share a common goal; high quality education and an inclusive curriculum are essential to the future of the young people and families we serve. From our HQ on Hungerhill School site, we have expert, hands-on teams in finance, HR, estates, IT and legal as well as our central school improvement team who are deployed across all our schools. This enables school leaders to pool resources in joint school improvement projects for the benefit of all students/pupils.
