KSJ - Award Nomination

The school’s pupils take part in hands-on learning both inside and outside the classroom, including co-educational workshops and sessions in their forest school. Notable initiatives have included planting an orchard of 41 new trees, some of which will provide fruits for both people and wildlife.

Kirk Sandall Junior School also contributed to an Earth Day Exhibition at Doncaster Art Gallery and Museum, submitting artwork designed to promote and encourage environmental action among the wider community.

This nomination reflects the school’s dedication to instilling kindness, responsibility, and environmental awareness in its pupils. We are proud of their achievements and the positive impact they are making on our community.
